The Cassville Volunteer Fire Company has served the Cassville community since 1939.  Funding is a constant battle for all non-profit organizations.  Although some equipment and apparatus expenses are reimbursed by the board of fire commissioners, a large amount of items are not covered.  As our state gets more pressure on budgeting, it creates situations  where volunteer fire companies receive bare minimum of what they need have a truck roll to fire calls.  Donated money is spent on replacing old equipment and gear, keeping up on fire house maintenance, and - the most important - TRAINING!
